BCS 27th batch officer Abul Hasnat, while serving as the Superintendent of Police of Bagerhat, faced severe criticism for making political statements in the 2024 elections and suppressing the anti-discrimination student movement.

Superintendent of Police Abdul Mannan was criticized for using force during the elections and anti-discrimination student movements while working in Comilla and Sylhet. Earlier, several allegations of staging militant dramas were made against him while serving as the Superintendent of Police of City TC.
