Ajmiriganj Upazila Swachhasebak League President Ashraful Hossain Mubarak, who attacked the student crowd with indigenous weapons on August 5 during the anti-discrimination student movement, is still out in the open. However, he is being criticized for being accused in only one case.
It is known that he is holding secret meetings in various places in Ajmiriganj Upazila to organize the Awami League and its affiliated organizations. He is even trying to create public opinion by distributing leaflets. Even though he is out in the open, the law enforcement agencies are not taking any action due to mysterious reasons, which is creating panic in the public mind. Many believe that he can create chaos by organizing a large-scale mass gathering in Ajmiriganj Upazila at any time. Therefore, the locals have demanded that the administration take action against him.
