UAE Health Minister Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Wais met with Principal Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai on Thursday.

Thanking the Principal Advisor for participating in the prestigious annual summit of top leaders of various countries, the UAE Health Minister said that your (Professor Yunus) presence has boosted the conference.

While discussing various aspects of WGS, the UAE Health Minister said, “We learn from people like you.”

“WGS is learning from the experiences of people from all over the world,” he said.

The UAE Health Minister congratulated the Principal Advisor for leading Bangladesh at a crucial moment in the country’s history.

He expressed hope that Bangladesh-UAE relations will deepen further during the tenure of the interim government and that both countries will expand trade, commerce and health ties in the coming years.

Principal Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus said he was impressed with the UAE’s progress in health conditions and disease prevention.

Foreign Affairs Advisor Towhid Hossain was also present at the meeting. Special Envoy of the Principal Advisor Lutfe Siddiqui and Senior Secretary and Chief Coordinator for SDGs of the government Lamia Morshed participated in the meeting.
