Two days after the disappearance in Kumarkhali, Kushtia, the body of the tailors owner was found in the morgue of Rajbari Sadar Hospital. The relatives of the deceased identified the body from the morgue on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased tailors owner is Binoy Biswas (55), son of Birendranath Biswas of Elangipara village, Ward No. 2 of the municipality. He has a tailors shop in Kumarkhali Bazar under the name Anupam Tailors.
It is learned that on Friday morning, the tailors owner Binoy Biswas left his house saying that he was going to the shop. Later, when he did not return home, a general diary was filed with Kumarkhali Police Station that night. At one stage of the search, Binoy Biswas’s body was found in the Rajbari Sadar Hospital morgue on Sunday afternoon, and his family identified the body upon reaching the spot.
Rajbari Railway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Asif Mohammad Siddikul Islam said that when the shuttle train leaving Daulatdia reached the Panchuria Railway Station area around 4:30 pm on Saturday, an unknown person hit his head on the railway track and died after being cut in two. The body was kept at the Rajbari Sadar Hospital morgue as it could not be identified.
Kumarkhali Police Station OC Md. Solaiman Sheikh said that his family filed a general diary on Friday about the disappearance of the tailors owner. His relatives identified the body of the missing tailors owner, who was cut in two by the railway, from the Rajbari Sadar Hospital morgue on Sunday. He said that the Railway Police will take necessary action in this regard.
