BNP will avoid any kind of conflict and violence in view of the upcoming national parliamentary elections. In addition, the party will be careful not to send the wrong message to the general public about BNP and its affiliated organizations. Leaders and activists have also been asked to be vigilant so that no third party can take advantage.

Such a message has been given from the center to the grassroots after the incident at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) on Tuesday. In that incident, a local leader of the Jubo Dal was expelled and a precedent of positive politics was set.

Several central leaders of the BNP said that they will continue their path by maintaining good relations with all anti-fascist parties and organizations. However, they have information that a third party is conspiring to pit the nationalist Chhatra Dal against the anti-discrimination student movement. That party wants to take advantage by confusing the situation. The message that no third party conspiracy will be allowed to take place has also been given to the grassroots.

BNP claims that while Chhatra Dal is working to bring about qualitative changes in student politics by embracing the aspirations of ordinary students, a conspiracy is going on around Chhatra Dal. One party is desperate to blame Chhatra Dal for their various misdeeds. They want to humiliate BNP in the political arena through Chhatra Dal and question their acceptability. They are doing this out of fear of BNP’s popularity. BNP considers this effort to be a ‘far-reaching planned conspiracy’.

According to BNP sources, BNP has already instructed Chhatra Dal to behave with sufficient restraint and patience in the emerging situation. It has also been told not to get involved in any kind of conflict. At the same time, BNP has also asked to maintain a peaceful presence on campuses. Chhatra Dal Central President Rakibul Islam Rakib said, “Without any evidence, an attempt has been made to divert political benefits by calling the Chhatra Dal attack on the local public and KUET students on social media.” He said, whoever is involved in the incident, they should be thoroughly investigated and brought to justice and the maximum punishment should be ensured.

BNP says that student politics is involved in every democratic movement in Bangladesh. As a result, politics and student politics in Bangladesh are inextricably linked to each other. The party’s question is whether Chhatra Dal is being targeted through the demand to ban this student politics. Because, where politics is being done from the platform of the anti-discrimination student movement. They are giving committees on campus, they are vocal. A new political party is also going to be formed. On the other hand, in the changed situation, the Islamic Chhatra Shibir is also active on campuses. Some are conducting Chhatra Shibir activities openly, some are conducting them secretly. Then the campuses are not becoming free from politics. There, Chhatra Dal politics are being systematically prevented from doing so on campuses. This is a conspiracy, which ordinary students will never accept.
