New secretaries have been appointed in 9 ministries, divisions and offices of the government. Of these, seven have been promoted to secretaries. And two have been posted through transfers.
A notification was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday regarding this appointment.
Earlier on February 23, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Md. Mokhles Ur Rahman told reporters that nine people will be posted to the vacant secretaries in the ministries and divisions within a day or two.
On that day, he also said that 12 people have been selected for the post of secretary in the meeting of four Superior Selection Boards. Most of them are qualified and deprived. None of them are on contract. Secretaries are being made from among those working in the service.
