The National Moon Sighting Committee will meet on Saturday (March 1) to review the news of the sighting of the Ramadan moon and take a decision on this matter.
The meeting will be held at 6 pm (after Maghrib) on that day at the Islamic Foundation Baitul Mukarram meeting room. The meeting will be presided over by Advisor to the Ministry of Religious Affairs Dr. A. F. M. Khalid Hossain.
The Islamic Foundation has requested that if the Ramadan moon is sighted anywhere in the sky in Bangladesh, it should be reported to the telephone and fax numbers or to the Deputy Commissioner or Upazila Nirbahi Officer of the concerned district.
