The Gaza Health Ministry said that 4 people were killed and 6 injured in Israeli attacks on the second day of Ramadan on Sunday. This happened at a time when the first phase of the fragile ceasefire in the territory ended.
In a statement, the Health Ministry said, “Four people were killed and six were injured in Israeli attacks since this morning. They were taken to various hospitals in Gaza.”
The violence resumed after the first phase of the ceasefire in the valley ended. This has raised fears of a new escalation in Gaza.
The ministry said that 45,885 Palestinians have been killed and 109,196 injured in the ongoing attack since October 7, 2023.
In addition, about 60 percent of Gaza’s homes have been destroyed and about two million residents have been displaced.
