Dhaka //
A clash with the police took place during the ‘March for Khilafat’ program of the banned organization Hizb ut Tahrir in the capital. During this, members of the joint forces detained a person. The video of the moment of detention quickly spread on social media, which started a wide discussion.
Later, on Friday (March 7), at 4:46 pm, Advisor Asif Mahmud took the person away from the DB (Detective Branch) office.
Advisor Asif Mahmud himself confirmed the matter in a Facebook post.
Addressing the person as his uncle, he wrote, ‘His name is Arman, he is not a rickshaw puller. He works as a water supply worker at the shops in front of Baitul Mukarram. When he went to help the police, he was also attacked and injured. Later, the army members arrested him and handed him over to the DB. He has now been taken to Dhaka Medical College for primary treatment.
Mentioning the power of the people, Asif Mahmud further wrote, ‘After August 5, this people came forward to save the country from all crises. It was impossible to survive without the help of the people with a fragile and uncooperative administration after the revolution. ’
This advisor warned, ‘Those who gave the government miss-information yesterday have been noted. And those who are involved in various conspiracies wearing masks should also be careful. The people cannot be fooled anymore, they understand everything.’
