If Chhatra League-Juba League are not there, then who is involved in this violence, the party’s senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that the interim government takes BNP’s allegations personally. In some cases, it is even trying to take revenge through tactics.

He said these things at the Mahila Dal protest program in Nayapaltan on Monday. The organization is holding protests across the country, including Magura, to protest the recent rape incidents and demand justice.

Rizvi said that the number of rapes has increased in the country. There is no safety for women anywhere. Women have been abused since Sheikh Hasina’s rule. Now that Chhatra League-Juba League are not there, then who is involved in this violence. We want to know from the interim government.

Commenting that if the administration was good, there would not have been such chaos in the country, Rizvi said that if the law was implemented properly, this would not have happened.

He said, we want to tell the government that the rapists of Asia should be tried as soon as possible, so that other criminals will feel the heartbreak. BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman is always keeping an eye on Asia’s situation.

Rizvi also said that anti-discrimination students are going to the rooms of DCs and SPs in different districts of the country and supervising their work. However, they are supposed to be in the classroom and library. They have also contributed a lot in the movement to overthrow fascists in the past. Therefore, they should go back to the campus and protest against all kinds of injustice.

Mohila Dal president Afroza Abbas said that during Sheikh Hasina’s time, rapists were rewarded. And during BNP’s time, appropriate justice was served in rape cases. In recent times, the rate of rape of women and children is increasing day by day due to the culture of impunity. She demanded that the rapists of an 8-year-old child in Magura be tried in public.

The president of the women’s party also demanded the hanging of the mother-in-law of the sister of the raped child, and said that the accused in the rape case must be tried within a week, not 180 days.

Chaired by the president of the Nationalist Women’s Party Afroza Abbas and led by the general secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South, Shahinur Nargis, the meeting was also addressed by the vice-president of the Nationalist Women’s Party Newaz Halima Arni, joint general secretary Advocate Shammi Akhter, president of Dhaka Metropolitan South Ruma Akhter, member secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North Advocate Runa Laila, and others.

A large number of leaders and activists participated in the procession with banners and festoons with various slogans against rapists and oppressors.
