Police hotline service launched to prevent violence against women

Dhaka //

The Police Headquarters has launched a hotline service to take effective action against violence against women, aggressive behavior towards women, insults, eve teasing, harassment, sexual harassment. If such incidents occur anywhere in the country, complaints can be made to this hotline number.

This information was given in a notification signed by Police Spokesperson AIG Enamul Haque Sagar on Monday.

The hotline numbers are – 01320002001, 01320002002, 01320002222. The numbers will be open 24 hours a day.

In addition, the Police Cyber Support for Women Facebook page is open as before to provide legal services and protection to women victims of cybercrime.
