The Election Commission (EC) held a meeting with the heads of Bangladesh missions of 19 countries belonging to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The meeting was held at the Election Building in Agargaon at 11 am today, Monday.
The EC held a meeting with top diplomats to brief them on the preparations for the national elections. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin, three election commissioners and the EC secretary are present in the meeting.
Heads of missions of Afghanistan, Algeria, Brunei Darussalam, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates have been invited to the meeting.
