Bangladesh football team has reached Shillong to play its first match against India in the Asian Cup qualifiers. This away match will be held on March 25.
The Bangladesh team took a flight from Dhaka to Kolkata this Thursday (March 20) morning. After a few hours of rest in Kolkata, they reached Shillong airport at 4 pm. After that, the team players left for the team hotel.
English Premier League footballer Hamza Dewan Chowdhury is going to play for the Bangladesh team for the first time. Apart from him, there is another new face in the team. Forward Al Amin Hossain is in this squad.
Meanwhile, the final squad of the 23-member Bangladesh team has not yet been decided. As the coach has not yet made a decision, 24 players have been taken to India. The final squad will be decided after the manager’s meeting on March 24 and one will be dropped.
