Dhaka //

Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said that he wants to quickly implement those proposals given by the Media Reform Commission that can be implemented now. He said, “That is why I would like the Reform Commission to quickly submit to us the recommendations that need to be done immediately or can be implemented quickly.”

The Chief Advisor made this comment while handing over the Media Reform Commission report at the State Guest House Jamuna on Saturday. This information was given in a press release from the Chief Advisor’s press wing.

The chief advisor said, “The interim government will take initiatives to implement the reform proposals received from the Media Reform Commission that are immediately implementable.”

After receiving information from the commission that Bangladeshi television channels cannot be viewed from abroad because domestic television channels are forced to use a specific satellite, the chief advisor said, “The government will take necessary measures so that Bangladeshis living abroad and interested foreigners can watch Bangladeshi television channels.”
