Sanaul Islam, who is in charge of the Shahparan (RA) Mazar Police Investigation Center, was the leader.

In a short time, he was able to destroy the smuggling terrorist miscreants. He is still leading this operation by working tirelessly day and night, ignoring the hundreds of threats and intimidation of the miscreants Raghav Boal and not sacrificing his integrity. Sanaul is another name of fear for miscreants.

It has been learned that Sanaul came to the Shahparan (RA) Mazar Investigation Center on November 5, 2024 and started activities against these misdeeds. Where the Jainta-Gowainghat and Kanaighat police stations failed to prevent smuggling, Sanaul Islam stood as a shield and was fully able to do this work under the guidance of the SMP Police Commissioner with the cooperation of the DC of the South and the Officer-in-Charge of Shahparan (RA) Police Station. He has also been able to prove that there is nothing impossible for the police, everything is possible if you follow the right path. This is a source of pride for the entire police.

It has been learned from locals that after joining the Shahparan (RA) Mazar Police Investigation Center, Sanaul Islam has been able to reduce irregularities, corruption and all kinds of terrorist activities to zero in that area. Except for one or two political unpleasant incidents, no major immoral activities have taken place. As soon as he received any news of the incident, he would rush to the spot to prevent it.

Several shopkeepers from Bateshwar, Pirer Bazar and Shahparan (Rah) Mazar areas, who did not wish to be named, told Pratipad that the outpost area has been covered in a blanket of security after Sanaul joined in November. At the time, they said that although the police were afraid for the safety of people’s lives and property after the July uprising, the entire area’s scene has changed due to the honest courage of Sanaul Islam. The same scene is prevailing in Shahparan (Rah) police station area as well.

Meanwhile, a source from Shahparan (Rah) police station said that till date, the outpost police alone has registered 36 regular cases to prevent smuggling. 55 accused were arrested in these operations. The smuggling includes various types of banned illegal Indian products, including deadly drugs. The Devil Hunt accused were not spared from his hands either.

When I spoke to Shahparan (RA) Police Station Officer-in-Charge Monir Hossain on the phone to find out about this, he said, “My police are continuing to work above bribery and corruption. If any of my police have committed a crime, I will not hesitate to bring them to justice.” He said that the police are continuing to work in the field as per the directions of the Police Commissioner Sir. The police are vocal in preventing any kind of misdeed. At this time, he said, from September 2024 to date, Shahparan (RA) Police Station Police have arrested a total of 132 accused and sent them to court. A total of 62 cases have been registered. He also said that this campaign will continue.
