Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has asked everyone to be vigilant, saying that there is a conspiracy at home and abroad to deprive people of their right to vote. The BNP Secretary General made this comment at a program of the Metropolitan BNP in Badda on Saturday afternoon.

He said, “We have to be ready. Conspiracies are being hatched, plots are being hatched at home and abroad. To deprive you of your right to vote again. We will not let that happen. It is very clear.”

“You all should be vigilant, be careful. The conspiracies and plots are not over. We will definitely establish the people’s government by foiling all the conspiracies and plots, InshaAllah.”

Mirza Fakhrul warned, “I will give my vote, I will give it to whoever I want. We want the election through this situation. We are still saying, we are not going on the streets yet. We are going to the common people, with these Eid items, with Iftar items, we are standing by their side in their happiness and sorrow.”

“But if any obstacle is created in our interest, in the interest of the people, then BNP will take to the field again. They know how to get their demands met by going to the field. I am saying this because we have to be ready.”

Referring to the conspiracies at home and abroad, the BNP Secretary General said, “It is very clear – whoever lives wherever, whether in the United States, France, America. And from there, they try to excite people, try to create division.”

“We are with the people, we are doing politics with the people. So no one can mislead us, no one can mislead the people of Bangladesh.”

‘We are not for India-Pakistan-USA-UK’
Mirza Fakhrul said, “Let’s be clear – we are not for India, we are not for Pakistan. We are not for America, we are not for England. We are for Bangladesh. Our leader Tarique Rahman has said very clearly, Bangladesh comes first. We are Bangladeshis.”

“You all should be vigilant, be careful. The conspiracies are not over. We will definitely establish the people’s government by foiling all conspiracies, InshaAllah.”

Mirza Fakhrul said, “90% of our leaders and activists were taken to jail. Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League government killed around 20,000 of our leaders and activists. It disappeared around 1,700 leaders and activists. It filed false cases of disappearance against 6 million people. There are very few such precedents in the democratic history of the world.”

“We have overcome that situation. We thank Allah Almighty a thousand times that by His infinite mercy. It seems to me that through His infinite miraculous power, He suddenly made Hasina disappear one day. Hasina disappeared on the orders of Allah Almighty. We have been freed from the torture and torture she has inflicted on people, and we are standing in a free environment.”

The event was organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Ward 42 at the Bereida Eidgah ground on Madani Road in Badda in the capital on the occasion of the distribution of Eid gifts by the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman among low-income people.

The event was chaired by Metropolitan North BNP Joint Convener Tahirul Islam Tuhin, and Metropolitan North Convenor Aminul Haque and BNP Minority Affairs Secretary MA Qayyum spoke at the event.

The event was attended by leaders including Metropolitan North Joint Convener SM Jahangir, Akhtar Hossain, Alfaz Uddin, AGM Shamsul Haque, Gazi Rezaunul Hossain Riaz and others.
