The BNP Secretary General said, whoever works according to the position he is in will be successful. Especially the interim government is committed to the people. I hope they will fulfill that. We will definitely fulfill the promises we have made on behalf of our party.

He also expressed optimism that the interim government will restore the democratic rights of the people.

Fakhrul said, we have been fighting for 16 years to establish democracy, establish the right of people to vote, establish the right to rice and establish human rights.

BNP Secretary General extended Eid greetings to the countrymen on behalf of party chairperson Khaleda Zia, acting chairman Tarique Rahman and members of the party and standing committee.

He said, we visited the shrine of our leader and offered prayers. At the same time, we sought the forgiveness of the souls of Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia’s youngest son, the late Arafat Rahman Koko. We also sought the forgiveness of the souls of those who lost their lives and became martyrs in the 16-year movement.
