The new logo of Bangladesh Police has been released. This information was given in a letter signed by Additional DIG (Logistics) of Police Headquarters on Thursday.
The letter said that the new logo has been finalized as part of the implementation of the decision to change the current monogram or logo of Bangladesh Police. It has already received the approval of the authorities. Now it is just waiting for the issuance of the notification.
The sailing boat in the current logo of Bangladesh Police is being dropped. And the country’s national flower, lotus, rice and wheat ears and jute leaves have been replaced. The jute leaves are written – ‘Police’.
The letter also said that immediately after the issuance of the notification, the new logo will be used compulsorily in all districts and units of the police force. As part of this, preparations have been made to ensure the use of the new logo on all types of related materials including uniforms, flags, signboards.
