Lakhs of people demonstrated in support of the Palestinians in the capital Dhaka on Saturday to protest the Israeli attack on Gaza. This news was published in the Israeli media Times of Israel. It said that many of the protesters were seen vandalizing pictures of US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The report was made citing AP. It also said that the protesters gathered at Suhrawardy Udyan near Dhaka University. About one lakh people participated in it. They held Palestinian flags and shouted ‘Free Free Palestine’ slogans.

This was done because Trump and Modi supported Israel. In addition, the protesters demonstrated with symbolic coffins and symbolic bodies of children wrapped in white cloth.

The report also said that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party led by former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, various Islamic groups and parties expressed solidarity with the rally.

Finally, it said that Bangladesh is a Muslim-majority country of 170 million people. They have no diplomatic relations with Israel and officially support an independent Palestinian state.
