Awami leaders are being presented to court by their sons-in-law: Rizvi

Dhaka //

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has commented that the terrible criminal Awami leaders are being presented to court by their sons-in-law.

He claimed that the leaders of the genocidal Hasina’s forces, far from apologizing for the 15 and a half years of terrible misrule, are on the contrary threatening the court. Standing on the blood of thousands of martyrs, they are threatening to return as even bigger fascists.

He made this comment at a press conference at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on Thursday.

Rizvi said that the interim government formed immediately after the long bloody movement does not reflect the expectations of the country’s democratic forces. Although there may be progress in some areas, there is a lack of preparation to build a strong framework for democracy. The accused in the murder of the fallen dictator publicly spoke in court demanding the trial of Shahid Zia and Khaleda Zia, the proclaimers of independence.

Speaking that Shahjahan Khan and his followers are threatening to come to the court in July-August and take a look at the government, Rizvi said, the court is being destroyed, the police are being given little care. The arrogant behavior that Hasina’s friends are behaving in the court despite being accused is basically a deep conspiracy to prove the interim government ‘ineffective’.

The BNP leader believes that they are behaving like this in the silence of the Home Ministry and the Police Administration.

He said, such a situation has been created because Hasina’s oligarchs in the Police Administration and the Home Ministry are ‘ghosts in the mustard’.

Also, there is no shortage of theft, robbery, and robbery in the neighborhoods, on the streets and in the ghats, Rizvi said, Sheikh Hasina’s one hope is the smuggled money, with the power of that money, she is trying to fish in murky waters by causing various incidents in the country. There is a proverb ‘Money speaks volumes’ – Sheikh Hasina is trying to use this proverb.

Rizvi claimed that the Awami League is showing the audacity to hold sudden processions in various parts of the country, including the capital Dhaka, with the help of some people in the administration.

He also said that the houses of BNP and its affiliated organizations are being attacked. The house of sculptor Manabendra Ghosh in Manikganj has been set on fire and reduced to ashes. There are some parties who want to fish in troubled waters, and if they do not have the fuel behind them, the fascist followers do not show the audacity to create chaos in the country.

Rizvi also mentioned that those involved in the smuggling of 28 lakh crore taka of the Awami misrule are still out of reach. He said, therefore, the syndicate of fascists is still working in markets, financial institutions, and various sectors.

BNP Joint Secretary General Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel, BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member Abdus Salam, among others, were present at the press conference.
