BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is returning home tomorrow, Tuesday. She will arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 10:30 am today.
Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Chairperson’s media wing, confirmed this information on Sunday.
He said, “We expect BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to arrive at the airport in Dhaka at 10:30 am on Tuesday.”
Meanwhile, Khaleda Zia has her SSC exam on Tuesday morning, the day she returns home. Therefore, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has given a Facebook status instructing leaders and activists not to come down from the sidewalk onto the road.
He gave this instruction in a post made on his verified ID on Monday afternoon.
In the post, Mirza Fakhrul said, “Khaleda Zia will return home in an air ambulance provided by the Emir of Qatar. She will leave from London on Monday and arrive in Dhaka on Tuesday.”
He said, “Begum Zia will arrive in the country on Tuesday morning (at 10:30) in a Royal Air Ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar. Students will also be out for the SSC exam in the morning. In this situation, I request the party leaders and activists not to come down from the sidewalk to the road from the airport to Gulshan. I also request the law enforcement agencies to take measures so that no one can come down on the road.” Incidentally, the special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar carrying Khaleda Zia is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 10:30 am on Tuesday. Before that, the special air ambulance carrying Khaleda Zia will leave Heathrow Airport for Dhaka at 4:30 pm London time on Monday.
There will be a one-hour stopover at Hamad International Airport in Doha, the capital of Qatar, during which the air ambulance will refuel. From there, the air ambulance will depart for Dhaka.
