Chief Advisor to the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for agreeing to a ceasefire in the ongoing India-Pakistan conflict.
This information was given in a statement by the Chief Advisor’s press wing on Saturday night.
In the statement, the Chief Advisor said, “I express my sincere gratitude to US President Trump and Foreign Minister Rubio for their effective mediation.”
The statement also said that Bangladesh will support any initiative by the two neighboring countries to resolve their differences diplomatically.
