The number of soldiers killed in Pakistan’s recent military conflict with India has increased to 13. This information was given in a statement by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday. Dawn News.
Pakistan’s ISPR said that on the night of May 6 and 7, the Indian armed forces carried out a brazen and cowardly attack on Pakistani territory without any provocation. The target of the attack by the Indian forces was innocent civilians including women, children and the elderly.
The statement said that the soldiers sacrificed their lives in the defense of the country with immense courage and determination towards the motherland. Today, two more brave soldiers died while undergoing treatment. With this, the total number of soldiers killed has increased to 13.
The Public Relations Wing of the Pakistan Army said that at least 78 members of the Pakistan Army were injured during the military conflict with India. These members were injured while performing their duties to protect the security of the country. They are currently undergoing treatment at a Pakistani military hospital.
The country’s army said that 40 civilians, including women and children, were killed in the Indian attack in Pakistan. In addition, 121 more civilians were injured.
The Pakistani armed forces on Tuesday revealed the identities of the two soldiers who died while undergoing treatment. They are Havildar Mohammad Naveed Shaheed of the Pakistan Army and Senior Technician Mohammad Ayaz Shaheed of the Pakistan Air Force.

On May 7, as part of Operation Sindoor, the Indian armed forces carried out missile and drone strikes on 9 locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The Indian forces launched Operation Sindoor on that day, alleging Pakistan’s involvement in response to the attack by gunmen in Pahalgam.
Pakistan then retaliated by targeting various Indian military installations. At least 70 civilians were killed in the exchange of fire between the two countries. The Indian army said that at least 35 to 40 Pakistani soldiers were killed in artillery and firearms fire by the Indian army along the Line of Control (LoC) between May 7 and May 10.
In addition, at least five Indian soldiers were killed during the operation ‘Operation Sindoor’ in Pakistan. The country’s army said, we have lost 5 colleagues of the armed forces. Their sacrifice will be remembered forever.
