Leaders of the country’s existing political parties are meeting with the chief advisor of the interim government, Professor Muhammad Yunus, amid anxiety, worry and rumors. As part of this, the chief advisor met with a BNP delegation on Saturday evening.

The meeting began at 7:35 pm on Saturday at the chief advisor’s residence, Jamuna.

BNP Standing Committee member Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain led the meeting, while party standing committee members Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, and Salahuddin Ahmed were present.

Earlier, BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan told Jugantor that the delegation led by BNP Standing Committee member Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain left from the Gulshan Chairperson’s office to attend the meeting at the chief advisor’s state guesthouse, Jamuna.

The four-member delegation includes BNP standing committee members Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is currently in Thailand for medical treatment. Due to this, senior member of the party’s standing committee Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain is leading the delegation in this meeting.

Earlier, BNP standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed said, we have been informed about the meeting time at 7:30 pm.

Earlier, the chief advisor to the interim government on the changing situation in the country, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, announced that he will hold a meeting with all political parties on Sunday. This information was revealed by the chief advisor’s office on Saturday afternoon.

As part of this, a meeting of the chief advisors will be held in Jamuna with BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami and NCP on Saturday. A meeting is scheduled with BNP representatives at 7:30 pm and Jamaat-e-Islami representatives at 8:30 pm. The NCP will join the meeting after that.
