Nine Indian-backed terrorists were killed in three separate operations in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province. The Pakistan Army’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a statement on Sunday.

According to the ISPR, four terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan district. Then, two more terrorists were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Tank district.

The third operation was conducted in the Bagh area of ​​Khyber district. It was reported that three more terrorists were killed there.

The ISPR also said that a large quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from the slain terrorists. The gang had been involved in subversive activities in the region for a long time and received direct support from India.

In addition, combing operations are still being conducted in those areas based on information about the presence of terrorists.

Pakistani security forces said that they are committed to rooting out India-backed terrorism.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for these successful operations.

He said that the elimination of terrorists associated with the Indian-backed gang has proven the professionalism and ability of the Pakistani security forces to respond promptly.
