‘July Martyr Monument’ being built in the country in memory of the martyrs of the mass uprising

Victory was achieved through the student-public uprising on July 36 (August 5, 2024) to build a non-discriminatory Bangladesh. On the anniversary of the victory, ‘July Martyr Monuments’ are being built across the country by the Ministry of Housing and Public Works in memory of the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising.

To preserve the memory of the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising, the first ‘July Martyr Monument’ implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Public Works will be inaugurated tomorrow (July 14) at 3 pm in Narayanganj district under the ‘July Revival Program 2025’.

This information was given in a press release sent by the Ministry of Housing and Public Works on Sunday.

It said that tomorrow (Monday) at the inauguration ceremony of the ‘July Martyr Memorial’ in Narayanganj district, Advisor to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Dr. Asif Nazrul; Advisor to the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Housing and Public Works Adilur Rahman Khan; Advisor to the Ministry of Education Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar; Advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Forests, Climate Change and Water Resources Syeda Rizwana Hasan; Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan; Advisor to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs Mustafa Sarwar Farooqui will be present.
