BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu has said that history will not forgive those who smear Zia family. Those who are lying against national hero Tarique Rahman have forgotten that this country was built by his father.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at a protest rally organized by the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) in front of the National Press Club on Wednesday.

The rally was organized to protest against the slander, lies, and propaganda against BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and to demand exemplary punishment for the recent brutal killings in the country. DAB’s Bangladesh Shishu Hospital branch, Mohakhali DG Health Complex, National Heart Institute, National Kidney Institute, National Mental Health Institute and DAB Dhaka Metropolitan North branch organized the rally.

Shamsuzzaman Dudu also said that on July 9, a businessman was murdered in the Mitford area of Old Dhaka. Two days later, the video of the incident on July 11 was released. There is an evil motive behind it. Similarly, on July 11, Jubo Dal leader Molla Mahbub was shot and his veins cut in Khulna. The people of Bangladesh know about who cuts veins. This gathering of doctors is in protest of these incidents. Doctors have protested against the slander against our leader Tarique Rahman. This proves that conscience is still awake.

BNP’s Deputy Family Welfare Secretary Professor Rafiqul Kabir Labu, DAB Mohakhali DG Health Complex Branch Member Secretary Dr. Mahbub Arefin Ranju, former NNM Branch Joint Secretary General Dr. Harun Ur Rashid Khan Rakib, DAB’s former Vice President Dr. Bazlul Gani Bhuiyan and Professor Shariful Islam Bahar, former president of Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital Branch of DAB Dr. Md. Khairul Islam, former vice-president Dr. Ehteshamul Haque Tuhin, general secretary of Shishu Hospital Branch Dr. MA Kamal, treasurer of NNM Branch Dr. Md. Wasim, former member secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan DAB Dr. Samiul Alam Suhan, vice-president of Swechchhasebak Dal Dr. Jahidul Kabir, vice-president of Chhatra Dal Central Parliament Dr. Touhidur Rahman Awal, etc. The rally was moderated by former joint secretary general of DAB Dr. Saif Uddin Nisar Ahmed Tushan and former member of the Central Executive Council Dr. Md. Javed Hossain.
