The results of the 48th Special BCS Written Exam (MCQ) have been published. A total of 5,206 people have passed it. They will be able to participate in the oral exam.
The results were released on Sunday (around 12 midnight). Public Service Commission (PSC) Public Relations Officer SM Matiur Rahman confirmed this information to the media.
The PSC notification said that the written examination of the 48th Special BCS Examination-2025 was held on July 18. 4,695 candidates for the post of Assistant Surgeon and 511 candidates for the post of Assistant Dental Surgeon have provisionally passed this examination.
The complete results of the examination and relevant information can be found on the Public Service Commission (PSC) website (www.bpsc.gov.bd).
The notification also mentioned that the commission reserves the right to make any corrections to the published results if any reasonable reason is required.
The 48th Special BCS Written Examination (MCQ) was held in 27 centers in Dhaka from 10 am to 12 noon on July 18. 41,025 candidates applied to participate in the examination. However, the PSC did not disclose the number of candidates who appeared for the examination.
Earlier, on Sunday afternoon, the PSC Public Relations Officer Matiur Rahman said that PSC is working to publish the results quickly. According to the roadmap, the results of the 48th Special BCS will be published by Monday. However, if everything is ready, the results may be published earlier (Sunday night).
According to PSC sources, 3,000 doctors will be recruited in the 48th Special BCS. Of these, 2,700 assistant surgeons will be recruited. And 300 assistant dental surgeons will be recruited.
