4 people including newlyweds and children were killed in a head-on collision between a microbus and a truck in Narsingdi. At this time, 4 more people were injured. The incident took place in front of Anchilik Passport Office in Dagaria area of ​​Narsingdi on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway around 10 pm on Saturday. On receiving the information, the members of the fire service reached the spot and rescued the injured.

The deceased are newlyweds Tanzina Akhter (24), Kamrun Nahar (35), Chabiha (14) and Sajid Mia (12). All of them are residents of Abdullahpur village of Charsubuddhi union in Raipura.

According to the sources of the family of the deceased, the injured Imran got married to his bride Tanzina Akhtar 16 days ago. After the wedding, 10/12 people go to Mirpur, capital’s Mirpur bride’s sister’s house. After the invitation and family function, he was returning to his home in Narsingdi by micro bus from Dhaka. When the car reached Dagaria area of ​​Narsingdi on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway, it collided head-on with the cargo truck. 4 people including the bride were killed on the spot. 4 more people were injured.

On receiving the news of the incident, fire service members reached the spot and rescued the injured and brought them to Narsingdi district hospital. After being brought there, 4 people were declared dead by the working doctor. The injured were sent to Dhaka with first aid.
