Legal Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul said, the district administration and police department are ready. This is the most important election after Bangladesh’s independence. There are two features in this election, voting is being done through postal ballots. Expatriates will also be able to exercise their right to vote for the first time. A referendum is also being held. Let Bangladesh’s democracy and rule of law be strong. Let it be much stronger; for this, it is important to vote yes.
He said these things while talking to reporters at the Circuit House after visiting some risky polling stations in Madaripur on Saturday afternoon.
The legal advisor said, there is a desire among the people to vote. After a long 17 years, the government has taken measures to hold a national election. We are determined to make it free and fair.
