Local Government, Industry, Housing and Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan said that all those who respect the blood of martyrs will vote ‘yes’ and campaign. And those who like fascism will vote ‘no’.

At the Namazgarh Anjuman-e-Gorsthan in Bogra city, wreaths were laid at the graves of the martyrs of the July Movement and prayers were offered for the departed souls. He said these things at a law and order meeting at the District Commissioner’s office after the prayers at around 11 am.

Earlier, the advisor paid homage to the memorial and graves built in memory of the July martyrs in the city and sought prayers. At around 10 am, wreaths were laid at the ’36 July’ memorial and graves of the martyrs located at Satmatha in the city.

Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Dr. ANM Bazlur Rashid presided over the program. Present at the event were – Deputy Commissioner Taufiqur Rahman, Superintendent of Police Shahadat Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mejbaul Karim, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Dr. Farzana Akhtar, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Abu Sufian, Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works Nazrul Islam, Secretary of the Local Government Department Rezaul Maksud Zahed, Secretary of the Rural Development and Cooperatives Department Shawkat Rashid Chowdhury, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Abdul Wazed, among others.
