5 District and Sessions Judges Transferred

Five judges of the rank of District and Sessions Judge have been transferred in consultation with the Supreme Court. The Law and Justice Division of the Law Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday (February 3).

According to the notification, High Court Division Registrar (Justice) Mohammad Moazzem Hossain has been appointed as Judge (District and Sessions Judge) of Munshiganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal.

Appellate Division Registrar Muhammad Hasanuzzaman has been transferred as Special Judge of Dhaka Special Judge Court-1.

High Court Division Registrar (Justice) Shariful Alam Bhuiyan has been assigned as Judge of Munshiganj Land Survey Appellate Tribunal.

Begum Faizunnesa, an officer attached to the Law and Justice Department, has been transferred as a judge of the Munshiganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal.

In addition, Md. Abul Kashem, a special judge of Dhaka Special Judge’s Court-1, has been appointed as the chairman of the Mymensingh Labor Court.

The notification said that Moazzem Hossain, Hasanuzzaman and Shariful Alam will hand over the responsibility on the date determined by the Supreme Court. Other officials will immediately join their new workplaces after handing over their current responsibilities on February 4.
