Bangladesh cricket team received good news after the historic Test series win in Pakistan. With a 2-0 win in the two-match series, the Tigers moved up to fourth in the ongoing Test Championship points table.
Bangladesh is after India, Australia and New Zealand in the Test Championship table. In this current cycle, Bangladesh has played 6 Tests so far. Won in 3 matches. Lost the same number of matches. The Tigers were supposed to get 50 percent of the points as a percentage. But three points were deducted due to slow overrate in the first test.
3 Test wins should have added 36 points, but the Tigers now have 33 points next to their name. Shanto-Sakibra scored 45.83 points as a percentage. With that, Bangladesh has risen to the fourth position in the Test Championship list, topping Sri Lanka, South Africa and England.

And due to slow over rate with two consecutive losses, Pakistan suffered 6 points deduction. After two wins from 7 matches, Pakistan collected 16 points. Pakistan is in the 8th position with 19.05 points.
