26 Superintendent of Police (SP) rank officers of the country have been assigned the responsibility of 26 districts.
The transfer was made in a notification issued by the Police-1 Branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday. By order of the President, Deputy Secretary Md. signed the notification. Mahabur Rahman Sheikh.
According to the notification, Brahmanbaria, Kurigram, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Sunamganj, Feni, Bogra, Chapainawabganj, Moulvibazar, Faridpur, Joypurhat, Bhola, Khagrachari, Barguna, Cox’s Bazar, Rajbari, Pirojpur, Satkhira, Khulna, Kushtia, Nawail, Sherpur, Madaripur, Chuadanga, Jhalkathi and Lalmonirhat districts have been assigned as new Superintendents of Police. This order issued in public interest will be effective immediately.
Earlier on August 27, police superintendents were given in 24 districts including Dhaka, Chittagong, Rangpur, Comilla, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Narayanganj, Jhenaidah, Magura, Tangail and Narsingdi.
