Abdur Rahim Ripon meets Turkish Ambassador

At the invitation of Turkish Ambassador to Dhaka, Mr. Ramis Sen, Senior Vice President of The Moulvibazar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and one of the members of the Moulvibazar District BNP Convening Committee, Abdur Rahim Ripon held a fruitful meeting on issues related to the interests of businessmen in the Sylhet region.

The meeting was held on Monday (December 23) evening at the Turkish Embassy on Madani Avenue in the diplomatic neighborhood of Dhaka.

According to the meeting source, Abdur Rahim Ripon joined the meeting at the invitation of the Turkish Embassy on behalf of The Moulvibazar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the meeting, the Ambassador was requested to facilitate Turkish visas for businessmen of the four chambers of Sylhet Division, expand business with Turkey, market agricultural products, and build strong ties and future cooperation between businessmen of the two countries. Especially, the businessmen of Sylhet region are looking forward to taking more strong steps to export agricultural products of Sylhet region to Turkey.

The meeting was attended by – Commercial Minister of the Turkish Embassy Mr. Bilal Beliyart, Director of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Sevki Marth Barish, Media and Publicity Director of the British Bangladesh Chamber Misbah Ahmed Chowdhury.
