Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation in Srimangal has rescued a Guinea vulture that had fallen ill due to cold in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.

Swapan Dev Sajal, Director of Wildlife Service Foundation, rescued the vulture from the Sindurkhan tea garden area of ​​Srimangal upazila at 11 pm on Saturday (December 28).

He said that the vulture fell ill due to excessive cold and came down to the paddy field. Seeing local children playing with the vulture, a CNG driver named Badrul Alam informed the Wildlife Service Foundation. After receiving the information, we rescued the vulture from that area as soon as possible. The injured vulture was given first aid and handed over to Assistant Conservator of Forests Jamil Mohammad Khan and Range Officer Anisuzzaman of the Forest Department.
