State Minister of Disaster and Relief Ministry visited several flood affected areas of Sylhet city. Mohibbur Rahman MP.

Meanwhile, State Minister Md. Mohibbur Rahman MP provided Tk 10 lakh in cash, 100 metric tons of rice and 2000 packets of dry food.
The state minister said that Bangladesh is a disaster prone area. Sylhet region is one of them. Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is closely monitoring the flood situation in Sylhet and is constantly monitoring it.
He also said, Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Md. Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury is always in touch with us. Called me on the day of Eid and informed about the flood. He requested for relief aid from water shortages and initially allocated Tk 10 lakh, 100 metric tons of rice and 2000 packets of dry food on behalf of the Disaster and Relief Ministry.
