Alal Ahmed, who lost an eye after being shot during the anti-discrimination student movement, has been awarded a donation by Spain Volunteers. Voluntary Team Spain South Convener Akkas Miah, Member Secretary A.R. Litu and joint convener Redwan Hossain gave this monetary donation for the better treatment of the shot-injured Alal.

Alal Ahmad is the member secretary of Ward No. 16 of Sylhet metropolis and the owner of house No. 64 of Al-Amin in Charadighi Par area. Deceased: Habib Ullah’s son.

For better treatment, on Thursday (September 19) around eight o’clock in the night, former Chhatra Dal leader Hussain Ahmad Sumon, volunteer group Spain South gave a financial donation check to Mirza Zayed, a senior member of the former Chhatra Dal and the current vice-president of the newly formed Sylhet District Committee of the Jubo Dal, and former Chhatra Dal leader 22 No- Ward President and Founder President of Shahjalal Youth Welfare Council Nizam Uddin Imon.

It should be noted that Alal was seriously injured in the anti-discrimination student movement on August 4. He led the rally from the front in Bandar Bazar, Nayasadak and Chowhatra Point areas of Sylhet metropolis. In addition to losing an eye, he was seriously injured.
