The editor of Dainik Amar Desh, who was imprisoned and tortured during the government led by Sheikh Hasina. Mahmudur Rahman has returned to the country. He landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9 o’clock on Friday morning.
Journalist Mahmudur Rahman was given a public reception at the airport. Anti-fascist students are said to have organized the reception.
Earlier, in a status given on the social media Facebook on Wednesday night, the managing director of Bangladesh Journalist Welfare Trust, journalist leader M Abdullah wrote, the editor of Dainik Amar Desh, who was imprisoned and tortured during the government led by Sheikh Hasina. Mahmudur Rahman is returning home. He will return from Türkiye on a flight at 9 am on Friday.
He said, the physical condition of the mother of my country’s secretary Mahmudur Rahman is very bad. He is under treatment in the hospital for quite some time. He has prepared to return to the country urgently on Friday at 9 am.
