Two Qatari expatriates in Kanaighat were killed in a road accident

Two Qatari expatriates in Kanaighat upazila of Sylhet were killed in a road accident. Several others were injured. The tragic accident took place on Tuesday (October 1) at around 10 am in Sanaiya, Qatar.

The deceased Qatari expatriates are Farooq Ahmad son of Arjan Ali of Amarpur village of Jhingabari union of Kanaighat upazila of Sylhet district and Mohammad son of Masuk Ahmad of Gordnakandi village of the same union. Raihan Ahmad, a resident of Kanaighat, another Qatari expatriate, confirmed the news of their death.
He said, “Farooq Ahmed and Mohammad lived in a mess next to me in Qatar. On their way to work in the morning, the vehicle carrying them overturned after hitting the railing of a bridge at Sanaiya. Farooq Ahmed and Mohammad died on the spot.
