Israel has carried out at least 300 airstrikes in Syria in the past two days since the fall of Bashar al-Assad. These attacks on the capital Damascus and key Syrian cities have made it “almost impossible” for the new administration to carry out its duties. Al Jazeera News
Israeli Army Radio has described the ongoing attack as “one of the largest-scale operations in the history of the country’s air force.”
The report said that the continued attacks on the capital Damascus and other key cities have posed a major challenge for the rebels to protect state infrastructure and transfer power smoothly.
Meanwhile, in addition to the airstrikes, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has begun acquiring land in the Syrian border region.
