The interim government has transferred and given new responsibilities to 5 police officers including a DIG.
A notification in this regard was issued by the Home Ministry on Tuesday.
Among the transferred officers, DIG of the Special Branch of the Police Md. Sarwar has been made Additional Police Commissioner of the DMP, Additional DIG of the Police Headquarters Md. Atiqur Rahman has been made Joint Commissioner of the DMP, Additional DIG of Rajshahi Sardara Mohammad Enamul Haque has been made Joint Commissioner of the DMP, SB Police Superintendent ANM Sajedur Rahman has been made Habiganj Police Superintendent and Dhaka Range Police Superintendent (posted as Habiganj Police Superintendent) Aslam Shahzada has been posted to the same office, canceling the orders.
The notification mentions that this order, issued in the public interest, will come into effect immediately.
