The annual sports competition and prize distribution was held at St. Martha’s Kindergarten School in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.

On Thursday (January 30) morning, the chief guest of the event, Rev. Father Kallol Rosario, priest of Shayestaganj Mission, inaugurated the program by hoisting the national flag, playing the national anthem and releasing the symbol of peace.

After that, the students of the school participated in various events until 1 pm. The sports included – 100-meter race, number race, chocolate race, balance race, dress up as you like, parents’ pillow game, teachers’ chair game.

After the sports, Sister Supriti Bibiana Costa, head teacher of St. Martha’s Kindergarten School, presided over the prize distribution ceremony, and Sister Shilpi Celine Costa, RNDM, artist of St. Martha’s High School, was present as a special guest. Also present were the school teachers, guardians and students.

The first, second and third place winners in the sports competition were awarded prizes.

In his closing speech, the chief guest emphasized the importance of the students’ participation in various co-curricular activities, character development and development as citizens with human values, in addition to their studies.
