The Bangladesh women’s cricket team is in Pakistan to play the ICC Women’s World Cup qualifiers. Before the main stage of the qualifiers, Nigar Sultana Jyotira played a warm-up match against Pakistan ‘A’ team. Bangladesh won the match by a huge 167 runs.
The Bangladesh women’s team batted first and scored 276 runs with 2 balls to spare. Captain Nigar Sultana Jyotira played an innings of 70 runs. Opener Farzana Haque retired after scoring 50 runs. Jannatul Ferdous played an unbeaten innings of 46 runs.
In reply, the Pakistan ‘A’ team was all out for 109 runs in 39.1 overs. Dua Majeed scored 32, Umme Hani scored 26 runs. Rabeya of the Bangladesh women’s team took 2 wickets for 7 runs and Marufa took 2 wickets for 8 runs.
