Trump’s board should be named ‘Pieces’ instead of ‘Peace’: Elon Musk

US billionaire Elon Musk has joked that Trump’s board should have been named ‘Pieces’ instead of ‘Peace’. He said, ‘When I heard about the peace conference, I thought, is this peace, or is it a small piece of Greenland or a small piece of Venezuela?’ NDTV reported.

Joining BlackRock CEO Larry Fink on a panel at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, tech billionaire Elon Musk took a dig at US President Donald Trump’s peace council.

Musk added, to gentle laughter from the audience, ‘We just want peace.’

The peace council, formed under Trump, was originally intended as a small group of world leaders to oversee the Gaza ceasefire plan. But the Trump administration’s plans have now gone even bigger. Trump has invited dozens of countries to the meeting and has hinted that the board could play a role in mediating international disputes in the future.

Musk has always been known as a Trump ally. However, the past year has seen many ups and downs in their relationship. Musk’s comments come as their relationship is improving after a public spat and later reconciliation.

During the discussion, Musk predicted that robots will change society and benefit humanity by reducing the need for human work. One day, robots will create more robots.

The billionaire also said, “There will be no shortage of goods and services in the future. Because there will be more robots than people.” According to Musk, every person in the world will want a robot to take care of their elderly parents or children. He said that Tesla will start selling robots to the public by the end of next year.
