Photo: Collected. Prime Minister Tareq Rahman has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the passing of Amena Begum, mother of Agriculture and Fisheries & Livestock Minister Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid.
In a condolence message on Tuesday (September 8), the Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah for the salvation of the deceased’s soul.
He also conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
Amena Begum passed away this afternoon due to old-age complications at her residence in the capital. She was 103 years old at the time of her death. She is survived by four sons, five daughters, and numerous relatives and well-wishers.
