A fire broke out at a shoe factory in Nazira Bazar, Old Dhaka. Upon receiving the report, three Fire Service units arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control.
The incident occurred around 12:20 AM (late Monday night) on the third floor of a four-story building located in the lane near Haque Bakery in Nazira Bazar.
A Fire Service duty officer informed the media that three units responded after receiving the alert at 12:30 AM and successfully contained the blaze. Preliminary reports indicate that a shoe factory was operating on the third floor of the building.
The official added that there have been no reports of casualties so far, and the cause of the fire could not be immediately ascertained.
