IPDC Finance has been recognized as the Global Champion in the Best Women Entrepreneur Financial category at the Global SME Finance Awards 2024 for its role in supporting women entrepreneurs.
The award was given in a ceremony held in Sao Paulo, Brazil last Wednesday. The event recognized various institutions for their outstanding contribution to SME financing around the world.
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the SME Finance Forum presented the award. The award was given to IPDC Finance’s loan facility for women entrepreneurs ‘IPDC Joy’.
Accepting the award, IPDC Finance Managing Director Rizwan Dawood said, ‘It is a matter of pride for us to be recognized as a global champion for women entrepreneurs. This is a recognition of the hard work and commitment of our entire team. Winning IPDC is not just a financing initiative; This is an initiative, which is bringing positive changes in the lives and society of the people of Bangladesh.
