Israel has carried out large-scale airstrikes on the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh. According to the local authorities, the local authorities said that a total of 6 people were killed, including Nabatieh Mayor Ahmad Kahil.

According to the report, Israel fired missiles from warplanes at the municipal building and other government offices in the city of Nabatieh in 11 consecutive air strikes.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health says Israeli forces attacked two buildings in Nabatieh Municipality and the Municipal Union. 6 people were killed and 43 people were injured. The death toll is preliminary and rescuers are still searching for survivors under the rubble.
Nabatieh Governor Howayda Turk told AFP, “This is a case of genocide. Nabatieh mayor and others were martyred.
He also said, “Mayor Ahmed Kahil was with his team in the daily crisis management meeting at the municipal building”.
In the incident, the Israeli army said, “its forces hit dozens of Hezbollah terrorist targets in the Nabatieh area and destroyed underground infrastructure used by Hezbollah’s Radwan forces in southern Lebanon.”
