Sohel Taj, son of Bangladesh’s first Prime Minister Tajuddin Ahmed and former State Minister for Home Affairs, has strongly criticized Awami League President and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
In a post on Facebook on Thursday (November 28) morning, he wrote, ‘They are killing, disappearing, murdering, genocide, torturing, destroying democracy, committing corruption, smuggling millions of crores of taka abroad, and now they are plotting to destroy the country after being beaten by the students and the public.’
Demanding that the Awami League will not let the country live in peace, Sohel Taj wrote, ‘How shameless and impudent they are, they will not let the country live in peace for a moment. First, the attempt at a digital judicial coup, then one after another, the attempts by the Ansar army, battery rickshaws, the “Trump” card on Nur Hossain Day, the attempt to gather people in Shahbagh by tempting them to give loans, creating chaos in various colleges, and now the attempt to return to power by destroying religious harmony and relying on dead bodies.’
He requested everyone to read Matiur Rahman Rentu’s two books about Sheikh Hasina, ‘Amar Phansi Chai’ and ‘Antarale Khatkari Pradhanmantri’.
He also wrote, “I don’t need the praise of bad people who deviate from principles and ideals—I know you.”
Referring to the brainwashing of Awami League leaders and activists, Sohel Taj wrote, “I will tell all the supporters of the corrupt, rotten principles/deviant ideals, looters, murderers, murderers, and torturers to unfollow my Facebook page immediately and I request you to awaken your conscience, self-realize, self-criticize, and repent.”
